DB Investing launches MT5 AI Assistant

    MetaTrader 5

Dubai based Retail FX and CFDs broker DB Investing has announced the launch of its MT5 AI Assistant version 1.0, its first in-house artificial intelligence project, designed to give traders a smarter, faster, and more flexible way to interact with their MetaTrader 5 trading account.

The new solution allows DB Investing clients to connect leading AI platforms, including ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or any compatible AI endpoint, directly to MetaTrader 5 by simply adding their own AI API key. This means traders can use the AI software they already know and trust to analyse their trading account, review live market data, evaluate open positions, and prepare trading instructions from one integrated MT5 interface.

With the MT5 AI Assistant, clients remain fully in control. The system can read live account data such as balance, equity, margin, open positions, and market prices, then combine that information with the trader’s own prompt before sending it securely to the selected AI provider. The AI can return market analysis, trade ideas, risk observations, and structured trading instructions, but no trade is executed without the trader’s explicit confirmation.

The Assistant removes the technical barriers that previously made AI trading workflows difficult for retail traders. Traditional AI integrations often required Python installations, command-line tools, server configuration, complex JSON files, or third-party bridges. DB Investing’s MT5 AI Assistant simplifies the process into a clear workflow: install the plugin, attach it to MetaTrader 5, choose the preferred AI provider, add the API key, and start interacting with the trading account through AI.

The solution is designed around flexibility, control, and privacy. Traders can connect their own API keys from OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, or another compatible provider, allowing them to use the AI model they prefer rather than being locked into a single system. API keys are stored locally in the trader’s MetaTrader 5 environment, and MT5 login credentials are not shared with AI providers. Communication with AI providers is handled through secure HTTPS connections.

Clients can also define trading limits, including a maximum trade volume that the AI-prepared order can never exceed. Every action remains subject to manual review and final confirmation by the trader.

Gennaro Lanza, CEO of DB Investing said,

“Most traders are already using AI to research markets, understand news, test ideas, and improve their decision-making. The problem is that AI usually sits outside the trading platform. With the MT5 AI Assistant, we are bringing the trader’s favourite AI software directly into the MT5 experience. Clients can connect their own AI API, analyse their account, prepare trading actions, and stay fully in control at every step.

“This is our first in-house AI project, but it is only the beginning. We believe artificial intelligence will become a core part of the trading, education, client support, risk management, and partner experience. More AI projects are already on the way. Keep watching.”

The MT5 AI Assistant version 1.0 is available to DB Investing clients with a demo or live MetaTrader 5 account on Windows. To begin, clients need an API key from at least one supported AI provider. Full setup documentation is provided.
