Far East focused Retail FX and CFDs broker HTFX has ceased operations globally. The group’s main website, htfx.com, now just shows being parked by website domain registry GoDaddy.
The HTFX brokerage brand, founded in 2018, was controlled by Chinese entrepreneur Lijun Li. At its peak, the group operated an FCA licensed business in the UK focused on Professional and Institutional clients, HTFX Limited (at website htfx.co.uk); a Cyprus CySEC-licensed brokerage HTFX (EU) Ltd (website htfx.eu) serving clients in Europe; and an offshore (Vanuatu based) retail brokerage operation at htfx.com, focused on clients in the greater Far East region.
HTFX renounced its CySEC CIF license earlier this year, and lost its UK FCA license as of April 10, 2026. The HTFX UK operation was run for the past six years by Levy Benarroch (formerly COO of GCM Prime, which was sold to EC Markets) and Stephen Williams.
And now it appears as though the “main” offshore Vanuatu business has been terminated as well, with the htfx.com website taken down, as per above.
