MetaQuotes has released MetaTrader 5 beta build 6030, introducing AI integration, Passkey authentication, and major MetaEditor improvements.
The update adds native support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP), enabling built-in and external AI assistants to help users analyze markets, review trades, write and explain MQL5 code, detect errors, and automate tasks. The platform supports external AI tools such as OpenAI Codex and Claude Code.
The beta also introduces Passkey authentication, adding an extra layer of account security to help prevent phishing and unauthorized access. Passkeys can be stored on a mobile device or a FIDO2 hardware security key.
For developers, MetaEditor now includes code folding, highlight-all-occurrences, enhanced mathematical functions based on LAPACK and OpenBLAS, plus various performance improvements and bug fixes.
Users can access AI features by signing in with an MQL5.community account, with support for custom API keys from providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, DeepSeek, and Ollama.
The final public release of MetaTrader 5 will follow after the beta testing phase.
