Hazim Ismail, previously Head of MENA for Retail FX and CFDs broker HFM, has moved to institutional broker Edgewater Markets, as Senior Director – Institutional Business Development in Dubai.
New York based Edgewater has been making an international expansion push in 2026, earlier this year hiring former Finalto CEO Matt Maloney to head Edgewater UK, and former CMC Markets’ institutional head Richard Elston, to help build out its UAE operation, where Hazim Ismail will be based.
Hazim Ismail, as noted above, was previously Head of MENA for HFM (formerly HotForex). He has also served as CEO MENA at EC Markets. Hazem’s previous experience includes time at STARTRADER, TigerWit, and ActivTrades.
