Interactive Brokers (NASDAQ: IBKR) has expanded its cryptocurrency offering by adding 12 new digital tokens and introducing stablecoin withdrawals to external wallets.
The broker added nine new tokens through zerohash and three through Paxos, broadening clients’ access to digital assets on its platform.
In addition, clients can now withdraw U.S. dollars from their Interactive Brokers accounts by automatically converting funds into the stablecoins USDC, PYUSD (PayPal USD) or RLUSD (Ripple USD) for transfer to external wallets. The feature complements the company’s existing stablecoin deposit service.
CEO Milan Galik said the company aims to integrate digital assets into clients’ overall investment experience as stablecoins become a more widely used payment and transfer method.
The newly added tokens through zerohash include Aave (AAVE), Aptos (APT), Canton (CC), Lido DAO (LDO), Monad (MON), NEAR Protocol (NEAR), Plasma (XPL), Pax Gold (PAXG) and Uniswap (UNI).
Through Paxos, Interactive Brokers has added Aave (AAVE), Uniswap (UNI) and Pax Gold (PAXG).
With the latest expansion, Interactive Brokers now offers a broader range of cryptocurrencies alongside traditional investment products through its trading platform.
