
Global market maker Virtu Financial (NYSE: VIRT) has released preliminary financial results for the second quarter of 2026, projecting net income of $285 million.
The company expects normalized adjusted net income to reach $292 million, while basic and diluted earnings per share are estimated at $1.63. Normalized adjusted earnings per share are expected to be $1.82.
Virtu projects net trading income of $857 million and adjusted net trading income of $718 million, with average daily adjusted net trading income of $11.6 million.
Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter is expected to total $437 million.
The preliminary figures were disclosed as the company begins marketing an additional $400 million in term loans. If completed, the financing would increase Virtu’s outstanding term loan balance under its senior secured credit facility to $1.93 billion.
Virtu is scheduled to release its final second-quarter 2026 financial results on July 30, 2026.
