TradingView adds options from Taiwan Futures Exchange

TradingView continues to expand its data coverage. It is bringing options contracts from the Taiwan Futures Exchange to Supercharts.

Founded in 1997, the Taiwan Futures Exchange launched its first product in 1998 — futures on the Taiwan Stock Exchange Capitalization Weighted Stock Index (TAIEX). On its first anniversary, the exchange added Electronic Sector and Finance Sector futures, followed by Mini-TAIEX Futures and TAIEX Options in 2001 to broaden hedging choices for traders.

Today, it provides a secure platform for over 300 products, covering futures and options on indices, single stocks, commodities (such as gold and crude oil), and currencies. Driven by continuous system upgrades and rule refinements, TAIFEX keeps extending its coverage to provide traders with more effective risk control instruments.

With this latest integration, TradingView users can now explore options on the TAIEX across monthly, quarterly, and weekly series, plus monthly contracts on the Electronics and Finance sector indices. Beyond that, they also gain access to contracts on single stocks such as TSMC, local ETFs like the Yuanta Taiwan Top 50, and gold. This data enables TradingView users to analyze short-term market reactions and longer-term trends, while exploring opportunities across individual stocks, sectors, and broader indices.

To start exploring, head to the symbol search, select the Options tab, and type the TAIFEX: prefix. You’ll see the full list of newly integrated data.
